Home Improvement Market Forecast

HIRI's Home Improvement Market Forecast estimated the residential repair and remodeling products market would end up at $308.9 billion in 2007.  The long-term outlook for this market still remains quite strong and is estimated to average growth of 5 percent annually over the next 4 years and reach a level of $394.1 billion at year-end 2012.

Total home improvement product sales are projected to increase by 2.2 percent. These numbers are predicted to increase throughout the remainder of the decade.
